Pathfinder 2nd edition is confirmed
Long ago I switched to 5e because 3e had too many issues I did not like. Lo and behold, Pathfinder 2nd edition is trying to compete with 5e. This is not that surprising, considering that Unchained and Starfinder were previously used as testing beds for this exact sort of thing. Hopefully it will fix the issues I had with 3e, which are many, but at this point I am cautiously optimistic. I might switch over, but only if the new edition fixes the problems I had with it, or is easy to house rule, or if my favorite 3pp (e.g. the alternate martial and magic systems by Dreamscarred and Drop Dead) are converted to it.
